“As part of adjusting to a new change in my life, a heart dhara treatment sounded like the perfect way to treat and nourish myself. The care and attention that went into the treatment before, during and afterwards was truly more than I could have wished for. I felt so rested, my heart felt warm and spaceous, and my mind was still. I re-entered the day feeling more at ease and joyful. Heartfelt thanks.”

Heart Dhara

Offering relief from anxiety, panic attacks, poor circulation, palpitations or chest pain

60min - $90 for single treatment

60min - $80 per treatment for a series of 5 ($400)

How do you pronounce it?

You pronounce it much like it looks... heart - dara. Dhara is a sanskrit word which means ‘flow’.

What is it good for?

Heart dharas are effective in the treatment of heart conditions, but also in stabilising the mind and emotions; helping to treat anxiety disorders, panic attacks, chest pain and poor circulation.

What does it involve?

The treatment involves a well of dough placed on the chest with a warm herbal decoction and warm medicated herbal oil poured continuously over the heart area.

How will I feel afterwards?

Everyone feels different after a heart dhara.  You may feel super relaxed and chilled out or you may also feel a little emotional for the rest of the day. If at all possible, it would be best to relax for the rest of the day after your treatment.

When should I avoid having treatments?

You should avoid having any of the treatments below if you are suffering from a cold, fever, diarrhoea, menstruation, or any acute illness.
