Martin Pain

Ayurvedic Practitioner & Therapist

Martin is an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Therapist who  joined the Mudita Health Clinic in 2017. Originally trained as an Electrical Engineer, Martin came across Ayurveda by chance in 2006 while travelling in India. At the time, he had been suffering from a mysterious ailment for two years that confounded western GPs and medical specialists. Upon his return from India, he began implementing basic Ayurvedic principles into his life and after just three weeks, his ailment completely disappeared. As a result of this life-changing experience, he became truly dedicated to the path and completed an Advanced Diploma in Ayurveda in 2018 and a Certificate IV in Ayurveda inĀ 2013 under the expert guidance of Dr. Ajit, Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) from Punjabi University and Director of the Australasian Institute of Ayurvedic Studies. Martin worked as a therapist at Back2Health for a year, one of the busiest Ayurvedic clinics in Australia, before joining Mudita and runs his own private practice called 'Light Ayurveda'. Martin is also a current member of the Australasian Association of Ayurveda. He is also a Zen student of Doko Michael Hatchett (founder of the Mudita Institute).
