Nadia Marshall

Ayurvedic Consultant & Cook, Health Writer

Nadia is an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant, Cook and Health Writer. After suffering from a restrictive eating disorder and activity disorder in her teens, Nadia had ongoing digestive problems and body image issues throughout her twenties..... until Ayurveda and Yoga changed her life.

She began Yoga in 1998 and came across Ayurveda in 2002 while studying Naturopathy. She promptly transferred to the Australasian Institute of Ayurvedic Studies (A.I.A.S) to study Ayurveda with Dr Ajit instead. She has been living, breathing, researching and writing about its daily principles ever since, particularly from a food/diet perspective - both for Mudita, as a nutrition columnist for Nova Magazine and as a guest writer for national and international websites including Everyday Ayurveda and journalist, Sarah Wilson's blog.

Nadia originally studied science, then commerce at University and worked in the field of communications for 12 years as a speech writer, marketer and event manager for law firms and universities. But she has found her groove as a health writer.

She is our manager, administrator, marketer, designer, web designer, video editor, online course creator, event organiser and produces many of our articles and has co-authored or written our publications. She also speaks (usually at online forums) and takes our cooking demonstrations. She is passionate about helping other people, particularly women, liberate themselves from stress and confusion around food and their bodies... to experience Food Freedom!

She is married to Kester and they live in Northern NSW in a tiny house on wheels with their Border Aussie, Sunny.
